Ok so this was the first and last time I use the chipy. For 1 chips and sausage £7.60 this is a crazy price for what I can only describe reheated chips that look and taste awful. See pic attached. There is on street parking and space for a couple of cars off street in front of the shop. Before ordering I would check the price before hand. No one else in the chipy, this is normally I sign to stay away.
Cracking box of fish and chips. As good as you get in most places on the coast.
Ignore the silly reviews about price. Yes, fish and chips is more expensive than it used to be, what isn’t? They still have to pay the bills like any other business.
Will be back again soon!
£9 for this and can of pop, not nice, not warm, 2 other chippys in the village would recommend them over this
Wow just wow!!!...absolutely amazing fish n chips...I always travel to this little gem of a place and it always delivers and never disappoints on flavour...freshly cooked as you wait with friendly staff and a good atmosphere .

Myself and my husband visited this chips shop 6 weeks since and it was that nice we’ve even travelled 40 mins for our teas tonight , absolutely beautiful once again , will defo be coming back again . Nice to meet nice staff and owner too , thankyou once again
Well what can I say. First time trying here and I was appalled by the price. Yes cost of living has gone up but come on, you're a chippy, not a restaurant. £13.25 for 1 fish, small chips and a small curry sauce! Why? I eat at Whitbys last week in Doncaster and it was the same price but I got a bigger fish and was sat in a restaurant. Gas and electric is coming down so reflect that in your prices and stop abusing the system. Never again. And the fish must have been from lunchtime as it was cold!
*Update to your pathetic response* What's your reason for food being cold? I asked for small portion of chips and got charged for regular. Why? How can you justify restaurant prices for a takeaway? Most comments say you're overpriced which you are. Again, abusing the system. £3+ just for regular chips. Wow!! Got to laugh at this alone. Hence why I'll never be coming back. I should have took notice as to why you was empty on a Friday tea time! Very poor!!!
Proper nice, good flavour crispy chips and high quality fish, so not cheapest but worth a try
Great service and the fish and chips were the best we have had in the area.
