A really enjoyable visit to Scoffers, reasonable prices and large portion sizes of freshly cooked food which was very nice and tasty. One thing to note is it is cash only but there's a big menu choice and specials to pick from also.
Sadly I love when certain people are on shift. I’m gluten and wheat intolerant. I don’t know how many times I say it when I come in . I’ve been made ill a couple of times due to staff . Well I leave sleaford tomorrow and really wanted fish and chips. The young lass made sure she said gluten free fish but I had chips that were three different times cooked . Now my last night in my house I have been soooo ill . You need to educate your staff please
Love Scoffers, staff are always friendly and go more than out of their way to make you feel at home. Recommend dining in, food is cooked there and then for you, always hot and plenty of it. Deserts are lovely too.

Lovely food that comes with wonderful service. The fish was hot and fresh and all served at the same time. Fish and chips is priced together and portioned well. Will definitely be returning.
Fantastic place to stop, just half a mile off the roundabout of the A17. Gluten free chips, gluten free fish, gluten free battered mushrooms, gluten free onion rings, the absolute works. Crispy, light batter not dripping in oil. Crispy light chunky chips. Gluten free VINEGAR!!! Very allergen aware I felt very confident and safely looked after thank you!
And a Portuguese chilli to try on the specials board. Fabulous hosts very friendly and accommodating with our 2.5yo twins - not sure if they have high chairs or not we didn’t look, but they were kind and funny for the kids, happy to let them stare across the road out the windows at the DIGGERS ???????? food came pretty quickly too. Missing a baby change in the loo but the food, service, big car park and location just make this an awesome stop on the way north from Norfolk. Thank you!!
I enjoy sitting in the small seated area attached to the side of the takeaway. The staff are always very welcoming and polite. The side salad is very good. Always comes exactly like the picture and always tastes just as good. My picture doesn't do it justice but it gives a fair idea. Fish, chips and side salad always a winner in a friendly environment

Disappointed with the scampi, not whole tail. Chips had lots of hard crisp small chips in them. Long wait, though no real queue. Friendly owner.
