Amazing pizza tucked away at the Old School gallery. Staff were really polite and the food came quickly. I will definitely be back soon!
The most delicious pizzas, the dough is perfect and I would highly recommend the purple slaw, it was amazing. We took our pizzas to the beach (5 min drive away) so they are based in an ideal location too! Plenty seating area at the gallery if you want to stay there though. 10/10 food, a must try!!!!
The 40 minute wait would have been worth it if the pizza was nice. There wasnt a lot of topping on it and what there was seemed quite wet and under cooked. The potatoes were nice though
Some of the worst pizzas I have ever eaten- dough base was ok then they soared to just have pasta sauce slipped all over them and a blob of cheese. One has a few slices of mushrooms on. They Couldn’t even let us have a serviettes to wipe kids fingers on.
We came here after seeing positive reviews posted with pictures, which looked great. Unfortunately our pizzas were lacking in toppings and cheese. The ham and mushroom pizza came with a small amount of proscuitto and one mushroom per pizza (I understand prosciutto might be more expensive but adding more mushrooms doesn’t seem unreasonable) no rocket or presentation as shown in images on other reviews. The Nduja pizza came without prosciutto and with sparing topping so felt like a margarita. Sadly we were disappointed. In a small place where pizzas are available from more than 3 eateries in Alnmouth I had expected great things but I wouldn’t return here. I leave this review not to create difficulties for a small business but hope that they can learn and serve what’s actually on their menu, or at least adjust their menu to reflect what they actually serve- or if certain toppings aren’t available that they communicate this to customers at the time of ordering. The pizza dough was really good, but I wish there was more cheese and flavour to go with it. It’s such a lovely courtyard and they obviously can serve good food but not on this occasion. I hope things improve for a busy summer season so they encourage customers to return!
Fresh, wood fired pizza and garlic bread! The dough had a lovely taste with a slightly chewy crust, just perfect! ????
Really, really good pizzas from the van in the corner of the art gallery on the Foxton road. You need to check the opening times to make sure you don’t miss your chance while you’re staying in Alnmouth. Perfect after a day on the beach. And they are staying open throughout the autumn. Highly recommended.
The most delicious pizza always served with smiles no matter how busy they are. We are such regular visitors that our children seem to think it’s just what we do early on a Sunday evening ????. We took some friends and their son declared it the best pizza he has ever had (and he has tried a few!). Don’t forget the harissa dip for your crusts.
Keep doing what you are doing guys. A fantastic small local business providing our community and visitors with honest delicious pizza! Thank you.
