I was travelling through Gretna and came across Nando’s, the staff were lovely and the fish and chips were incredible. The ice cream was to die for. Definitely will visit again, I highly recommend.
AVOID THIS PLACE AND USE Mehmet's Fish & Chips !! Popped in quickly for a meal for myself and my child however once i reached the front of the que i was very rudely blanked by the 3 staff members who looked out of their depths! Went next door to Mehments and was met with customer service a million times better than i received in Nandos!! After speaking to a few friends and family members who are from Gretna and live in the town they all said the same thing "AVOID THE PLACE!". It's a shame as I remeber when Nando himself and his son Tony used to run the business and its nothing like then
Foods normally good but the portion sizes are terrible, this is a large sausage supper.
Food was great. It is a well recognised fish and chip shop. Slightly disturbed by cleaning the dirty carpet in the shop area by picking it up and flapping it around. Dirt and dust seemed to go everywhere. Not sure i want to go back.
Chips obviously re-fried from last night, over charged for a haggis and large chips, only got one slice of haggis when there really should be two. After working in the fish and chips trade for 5 years for a business that’s been going 50 years the same as Nandos I would expect the standards to be better, don’t recommend for anyone outside of town...
Very disappointing. We have recently moved to Gretna, and thought we would try Nandos Fish and Chip shop. Ordered two haggis suppers for £8.20. Arrived back home and there was only one small slice of haggis in each supper. Like a cheap burger with batter on it. Won't be going back here again.
Best chippy ever !!
Food is always fresh and delicious, there's plenty to choose from and portions are really big.
Staff super friendly, always smiling and ready for a chat ????
