We have lived in Sandiacre for 24 years, and since Sandiacre Fish Bar has recently been taken over, the fish here is absolutely Amazing! Proper white fish, proper cod, none of that grey stuff some chippy’s try to palm you off with. This fish is quality, well cooked, and very tasty. Thank you!
The chap that served me on the counter was super friendly and welcoming. Food was extremely fresh for that time of night, and was super tasty when I got home! Will definitely be back again! Thank you ????
First time trying this chippy have to say it was delicious. The food was freshly cooked upon your order, high quality ingredients and the queue was so long but service was fast. Definitely our new place to go.
First time using Sandaicre fish bar since moving back to the area. Absolute banger of a chippy! Fish was cooked to perfection ???? and the chips were delicious. Staff were really welcoming, the whole place had such a friendly atmosphere! Will definitely be using for future Fish and chip nights.
Had my usual fish, chip and curry sauce. Fish is better than ever, great chips and nice curry. Wife had a naan, salad and chicken. Lovely. Good value. Staff friendly. It was busy but everyone was friendly and worth a small wait.
Love this place!! Was always going when Micheal was there, new fryer very friendly & chips were beautiful ! Took fish out for the customer before me .. looked lovely too!

Was really looking forward to trying out this place, as it always looks busy in the evenings. Ordered fish and chips with mushy peas on takeaway. Partner asked for salt only on the chips and we ended up with salt AND vinegar. Mushy peas were a questionable luminous green and virtually no taste to them. The whole meal was also tepid warm, despite venturing just up the road with our food. Unfortunately won’t be trying again.
