Good to now have somewhere at the barrage where you can get a coffee. A good coffee too. Seems to have an interesting selection of sweet and savoury snacks to accompany in this smart little van. Plenty of seats nearby to sit by the river.
Me and my family always end our Tees Barrage walk with San seb.
You won’t find a better Coffee in Teesside.

My favourite place for coffee! I've always wished there was somewhere for a decent coffee around the barrage so I got my wish & more as San Seb has exceeded my expectations! Not only amazing coffee but we never fail to get a warm welcome & lovely conversation. 10/10 x
Visited on a quick trip to the barrage for a quick walk and look around during a visit from Coventry to see family who live locally. Very good coffee and flapjacks enjoyed as we walked around. Would come back often if it was not 180 miles away. Will visit again next time we are up here! (Would have loved a Scotch egg!!)
Been to San Seb every time I've been for a walk with my dog around the river and I've always grabbed myself a cappuccino, nice tasting coffee. Always polite to me and good customer service and he is there even when it is 6 degree temperature down by the river with a cold wind ????. Dedication to his little business. Next time you are down by the river for a walk, grab something.
