Sally's Tasty Cakes

Sally made the most amazing cake in Peter Rabbit theme for my son's 4th birthday. It was wonderful from outside with a hand made peter rabbit topper, inside was moist and creamy. Guests loved it, coming back for seconds and thirds. My little boy was over the moon. Thank you Sally :)

SUCH SWEET SERVICE!!! “Sally's Tasty Cakes” outstandingly caters precisely to her customer's needs. In this case, a ten inch circumference “fiftieth” named birthday cake was required with just over two week's notice – and during the busy Christmas period!

Sally was extremely willing to cater and did so MOST patiently to my exacting requirements of a ballet themed confection of pink and white icing, which beautifully encased a gorgeous cake of cream and jam sponge. She is a most genuine, friendly, wise, obliging, polite, thoughtful, imaginative and reliable professional for whom no detail seems too small or troublesome - and offers only the soundest of practical and creative advice.

The resulting display and decoration was a most tastefully spectacular, magnificently smooth and delicately pretty artistic feat. On presentation, it not only both stunned and delighted its most moved recipient but also every single guest present. As did the perfect, soft, succulent and most flavoursome tasting sponge within. It all just seemingly melted in our mouths!

It is a huge understatement to say that I would not hesitate to avail myself of Sally's faultless services again - and for everything one receives, it is all VERY reasonably priced! Unreservedly, “SALLY'S TASTY CAKES” COMES MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Just Wow! Sally's cakes are absolutely amazing! We recently ordered two cakes for my children's birthday. A batman themed cake (chocolate) for my son's fifth and a miraculous ladybug (buttercream) for my daughter's 12th. They were both created with great artistic skill and looked absolutely fantastic. They tasted great too and all the children and adults at the party were immensely impressed! I know we won't be going anywhere else for our future special occasions. We only wish we had more cake leftover to enjoy!

Wow! What can I say. I was let down very last minute by a local cake maker who came recommended. It was my daughters 18th birthday, she had already had her party cancelled due to the Coronavirus and since she was small, her cake has always been the thing she looked forward to the most. It was late in the evening the day before I was due to pick the cake up when I was told she couldn't make the cake and in a panic, I contacted Sally with little hope that anyone could help at such short notice. Surprisingly, Sally responded straight away to say she would like to help despite having a lot of work on. The next day, Sally and I talked on the phone and I described what I was looking for. Sally helped with some of her ideas on my chosen theme. I was so relieved. The very next morning, which was my daughters birthday, Sally messaged to say the cake was ready and I could pick it up. When I got there I was so impressed. The cake was better than I could have imagined and not only looked amazing but tasted delicious. My daughter and family absolutely loved it. I want to say that not only does Sally fantastic cakes, she is also a very kind and thoughtful lady. Sally, thank you for saving the day, thank you for such a lovely cake and I will see you for my sons 21st early next year.

Would recommend! The cake Sally made for me was scrumptious and the buttercream was the best I've ever tasted! It was a corporate cake to celebrate a major milestone in my company. Will be definitely coming back again. I'll try to give more notice next time! ????

Sally's cakes are amazing, the service is brilliant and the prices are really really sensible.

I order a four tier, unusual, wedding cake, first layer from the bottom was chocolate –luxuriously chocolatey and devilishly good, second vanilla sponge -stunning and light as air, third lemon sponge-tasty and flavourful, and the top was red velvet - the highlight of the day. I have tried red velvet here and in the USA but never tasted anything tastier or more sensational than this. It make my mouth water every time I think of it. Deep inside I am trying to find an occasion just to have an excuse to order one of those red heavenly divine velvety perfection cakes, and it will be soon.

My father-in-law's 80th was looming and, having experienced the superb cake that Sally had made at an engagement party, we decided to order a cake for his day. After consultation with Sally a cake shaped AvoMeter, with red velvet body was ordered. Not only was everyone amazed and my father in law, overwhelmed, but the cake was melt in your mouth, moist and tasty (!). and superbly designed AvoMeter. Sally provided a spot-on service and the overall experience was a very positive one...Another point to mention, the cake went into the freezer and was still, flavoursome and tiptop after defrosting!! Bonus!!! Highly recommend Sally and most certainly will utilise her skills again! M
