The Banh Mi (both Pork & Chicken options) were absolutely fantastic. We ordered 25 sandwiches for our film crew on day 1 with no notice & they were so kind to even drive to buy more ingredients to acccomodate our order. We ordered again for our crew the following day because they went down so well, & we are going to put in a 3rd order because its so fantastic ! Lots of love to the Saigon Munch Box crew for keeping us all so happy! ????
Fresh home-cooked taste & great flavour. A cut above the usual train station cafe. Great friendly service.
Fab coffee ☕️, authentic and tasty Vietnamese Banh Mi and spring rolls. Great service. Even if you're not travelling on the train, this is worth a stop!
I usually love independent cafes and supporting small businesses however unfortunately this didn’t happen. My train was cancelled so had an hour long wait among many others. I went into the cafe to sit down and within the first second i was asked what i wanted. I politely replied that I was just sitting down for the moment and then i got told to leave as i wasn’t a customer! I could understand this at a cafe in town but this is in a train station! All the chairs outside wear taken and as someone with a hidden disability I needed to sit down. As I went outside someone else asked for a plastic cup with some tap water due to the wait for the train and she was told by the same red head girl that served me that she had to pay for the cup! I probably would’ve ordered something as my wait was so long but I felt so unwelcome and was spoken to so rudely by the staff that I didn’t feel welcome to return.
Such a great find in Chichester! Very fast food (they made fresh banh mi for us in less than 10 min and worked to our train departure!) A very friendly family-owned place with authentic food, great prices and excellent vegetarian/ vegan options. Feels like a real local gem rather than a station restaurant- by far the best I’ve been to. Would recommend grabbing some and wandering to the nearby bishops gardens for an afternoon out.
It’s hard to believe something so good can come out of a train station cafe.
The lemongrass chicken banh mi was as good as I’ve had. At £5, it trumps anything else Chichester has to offer for breakfast or lunch on-the-go by a country mile.
To top it off, the people running the shop are wonderful.
If you’re a Chichester resident or just flying through on a change at the station, it’s mandatory that you take a banh mi with you .
Incredible quality for a train station, wouldn't expect less in an artisan coffee house but this one is in Chichester!!
I previously highly rated this place but I've been charged £2.50 for tea when menu price is £2. Had to get train, so no time to argue with the server.
