Got a meal from here it's now called cinnamon spice and it was delicious got it delivered took 35 min to get to us all fresh hot and honestly best Indian meal I had for ages I'd recommend this place to eat mmmmm yummy
Avoid. Left 2 hours waiting for a delivery/ how can that be? On a Sunday night so not exactly a busy one. They took an order they could not fulfil in good time. No one answers phone (once they knew it was us calling) we will never eat from here again
Saffron is my local Indian takeaway. Very friendly/welcoming to begin with. The food is always fresh and piping hot very edible/good to eat. The customer service is amazingly fast as well and you get 15% off orders over £20 you can’t get a better deal than that. Totally recommend this Indian to everyone to try you won’t be disappointed.
We have had the most delicious and fulfilling meals from saffron and they come very highly recommended. The staff are always very friendly and attentive, willing to offer any assistance if you are unsure about what to expect from your meal ie they will add or omit certain spices to suit your taste if needed. We've been using these guys for great Indian food for years now and can't recommend them enough.
Really used to love it here. Wish i didn't have to write this but unfortunately after ordering my usual and getting the completely wrong meat and trying to get them to own up to the fact that i was sent beef instead of lamb and getting absolutely nowhere i gave up. It was so obviously beef you couldn't get away from it. Chewy, dry, hard and pretty darn inedable. We put the rest of our food in the bin as the realisation dawned on us what had happened. Its sad as I've always ordered indian food from here since moving to the area. i understand things can sometimes go wrong but to give your customer the wrong meat on purpose and not have the decency to tell the truth when confronted is shocking. What if there was a medical reason for not eating beef? We were then told they would send us something else if we didnt want what we had. To bin it and they would send us something else. We said thanks but no thanks. Unfortunately we find it very hard to now trust you to make our food. People have allergies and intolerances and preferences.You're legally supposed to sell what you advertise. will go elsewhere from now on. A truly loyal customer lost.
Fast on delivery, so if you're in a hurry to get Indian food and you live around this area, it's definitely a decent choice but I shall add, not the tastiest. Still, I shall admit, I was not too impressed, we only tried a couple of things, they were not bad but there was not too much taste. Will try again, at least once more, to give them another chance.
I am so disappointed. Normally the curry and service is good but we are still waiting for a delivery after ordering at 6.30 it’s now 8 o clock. I’ve literally withered away waiting for it. How is it possibly going to still be hot if it’s been out ‘on delivery’ all this time? I ran there and back earlier this evening in 21 minutes, there and back!
Took over and hour and a half to deliver. Food was disgusting. Do yourself a favour and buy a pizza from lidl for £2, it will be infinitely better than this!
