Such a lovely little cafe!!
Me and my husband were welcomed as soon as we walked in. The cafe decor is very charming and suits the area well.
I had a jacket potato and my husband had the soup and toastie. Great value for money as everything tasted so fresh.
Definitely recommend and will be back to try more food. Brilliant service

Found this petite cafe in the middle of town. The jacket potatoes and sandwiches were delicious! Plus, they serve a big cup of lovely coffee! Service was brilliant with lots of smiles and attention. The tables are limited so there could be a short wait. Definitely a place to return for fresh, good food ????

When we were seated at our table we asked for a drinks menu and were told there wasn't one and to look at the board behind the counter. Fair enough. But when we got up to look at the drinks menu on this board, we were rudely told to sit down and they would come to us. After that the service was cold and unfriendly. I am Petworth resident and could have been a regular customer. But never again. There are much, much nicer and friendlier places in and around the town. Not recommended.
New owner driving the business doing all the right things IMO. A little more attention to detail please. Refresh the dirty menus, get it a little warmer please and whites need to be white. At this price point I expect sliced roast ham joint, local eggs and local bakery muffin. Cooked the poached eggs well and made the best of the Ingredients no complaints. Staff in good happy spirits, keep it up and we will be back again. Interesting building on several levels with steps so go prepared. Not as good as expected from pictures on internet. Would go again as they are trying very hard.
Service is great, but cleanliness is very bad and food quality is low. Cheap ham, no sourdough bread, scones are not like tradittional scones (dry, too fluffy and crumbly). Not worth the cost.
