Many of the pharmacists and other staff are helpful and experienced but few of them are unprofessional. It looks very poor communication and unprofessional when you hear them sigh and not wanting to reply. I know the pharmacy often gets very busy but should have been friendly and understand that some customers are also carer and difficult for us to return to collect the same medicine 2-3 times. Thank you
So I phoned 15mins before to make sure my perscription was ready because I was in a cab! I walk in with three people in front and looked like no one was serving! So I said ( is anyone else serving because my cab is waiting) and this RUDE women said with ATTITUDE yes we are serving your have to wait as people in front! Even tho I said on the phone earlier and said what I said nicely! What she said was unprofessional and dame right rude! Disgusted with this pharmacy. I work in retail and wouldn't dare talk to my customers like that.!
I could not return sealed and unused over the counter product after 2 weeks. They recommended the wrong product according to my GP so I decided to return it but they do not accept returns after a couple of days. The 2 week delay was because I had to wait for the GP to respond to my question first about the products suitability before returning as GPs are busy. In future I will just go to Boots and other mainstream stores that offer 30 days return policy as standard even though this place is just at the end of my road. I didn't realise private pharmacies were like this.
This is my local chemist. It has just had a refurbishment, and seems more spacious and modern now. More importantly its the best chemist I know in Basingstoke. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeably. There is also a private room to speak to someone if needed. Flu jabs are available also here. The shelf's also have the usual and sometimes more unusual items you expect in a pharmacy. There is also parking outside, which is very useful for the small parade of shops there. Highly recommended.
Very kind and caring Pharmacy. Also do flu vaccinations in a private small room. The chief chemist is very knowledgable and I have used thus pharmacy since 1990.
Pharmacy at Doorsteps!
Eventhough the GP is near and the town centre is at 15mins walk. This is pharmacy at convenient place, at least when people don't want to go to GP or town. It's a nice cozy pharmacy with private consultancy service as well. It provides you prescribed medicines as well as they sell other medicines.
Furthermore, they also sell some makeup products and watches too. Looks little bit awkward but it is ok. Good for customers!
Had an appointment for flu jab to be cue jumped by someone else .I appreciate how busy they are however that's no excuse for a person with no appointment to get there ahead of someone who follows the correct procedure
