Shane helped us out of a tight spot while driving back to Scotland. Great job
I had problems with my windscreen washer bottle and no fluid coming through after letting it get too low. I asked Shane yesterday if he could have a look at it and he gave it a basic check but said he would need to check the filter for sludge/debris. I took it back today and he worked his magic, showing me the contents causing the blockage. He also gave me tips on how to avoid this happening again.
I am thrilled with the work completed and the price charged and would recommend anyone living in the locality to support a small local business. I am already planning for my next service and MOT here. Thank you Shane and thank you to the lovely lady on the reception desk!
When our car suddenly started leaking fuel and needed a fairly urgent repair Shane not only squeezed in a check between other appointments, he also took it upon himself to find the replacement part cheaper on EBay and fitted it as soon as it arrived. On picking up the car from long stay car park at Newcastle airport, there was a concerning rattle coming from the car. We stumbled across this garage and after disturbing the guy on a well deserved tea break, he directed me onto his car lift and gave the underside a thorough inspection. All good there, so , after lowering the car he inspected under the bonnet. Within seconds , the issue was resolved as the engine cover had worked loose. Shane refused to take any form of payment as he claimed he did nothing. I totally disagree, as he gave us peace of mind to continue our journey on to Fife with no worries. Guys like Shane are few and far between nowadays, and his attention to detail and friendliness makes me wish I stayed nearer as his garage would be first point of call for any vehicle that I own.
