Best KPortal Reviews
As a customer of Rym Cafe, I must express my unwavering satisfaction with both their exemplary service and the exceptional quality of their cakes. Every visit reaffirms my love for their culinary delights, which are without fail, absolutely delicious. The consistency in excellence is truly commendable.
Really good cappuccino served in the French style was great. Enormous tasty galette with garlic mushrooms, tomato and egg. First time I’ve had a galette since a student in Britanny. Galettes make for a light meal. Followed by a walnut tart which was really nutty through and through. Noticed they had reviving smoothies but that will be for next time.
I ordered a cake for my daughter’s first birthday and it was absolutely stunning. It was red velvet and cream cheese frosting covered in fondant. It was so moist and tasty. The decoration was fantastic. I would give 6 stars if that was an option. The lady doesn’t have a website but you can contact her and order via Instagram. I had been to the cafe a few times and the staff were so friendly that I was happy to give them my business rather than ordering from a big company and they didn’t disappoint. I am so picky when it comes to cake but this was just so good.
Was fortunate enough to be his first customer of the day, so the service was very personalised.
Ordered the loaded omelette, a generous portion stuffed with emmental, turkey rashers, and roast chicken, with a light side salad and a toast (cut into soldiers ????).
The meal was exceptional, and obviously hot and fresh, and went down well with a steamy and rich cup of coffee.
The cafe itself is a pleasant blend of modern decor nested in a rustic wrap. A fun mix of '80s pop played at a moderately low volume, tempting me to sing along with my mouth full. ????
What was dining decision made on a whim evolved into an exceptional breakfast in a lovely atmosphere served with a friendly smile.
Will come back, with family in tow next time.
We came in because of the plethora of cake and muffins and pastries we sightwd as we walked past the window!
More positives to mention so I will get the negative out of my system:
Not Wheelchair Friendly as the WC is downstairs and walking down there for me was a real touch challenge but I made it. Seating was easier and able to get plenty of space for my rollator :)
Service was swift, pleasant and the portions were adequate for the price but compared to the other local cafes we have recently visited this was more on the stingy portion side for full breakfast!!
Size aside the taste was amazing and very hot and satisfying for brunch!
Beautiful Coffee!!!
Delightful Cake to eat in or take away!!
Very Nice Ambience....will come back again and highly recommend if you are fully mobile and steady on your legs to go downstairs for the loo!!
We often have coffee and cake, and it's always nice. It is very friendly and reasonably priced.
My family and I entered on Easter Sunday expecting to find the old cafe that was on this site, but instead we found this gem and decided to give it a go! Very glad we made that choice.
Upon entry, we were the only people inside the cafe and we were quick to be greeted by the staff member who kindly asked us whether we wanted a table for three and provided us with menus.
The menu itself is absolutely amazing. Everything is reasonably priced and there’s a great selection of different dishes ranging from a full English to fancy sandwiches to lovely crepes and even desserts and cakes!
We decided to order x3 full English, a Nutella and banana crepe, an Oreo shake, a matcha smoothie and a latte.
First came the drinks in a nice beige tray, all of the drinks look fabulous (see attached) and taste fabulous.
Next, we received the full English’s (see attached). Lovely portion for a light breakfast, definitely not for someone who wants a heavy breakfast. Very much fulfilling. Everything is seasoned nicely: the hashbrown tasted fresh, the tomato was really soft and juicy, the toast has a lovely crisp too, the sausages were delightful, the turkey rashers had quite a salty base— very nice, the beans were… beans, beans are perfect of course.
After completing devouring those excellent English’s, I received my banana and Nutella crepe (see attached). The shock on my face. Massive crepe covered with sliced bananas, drizzled in Nutella and topped with powdered sugar. Incredible and tasteful.
Most definitely recommend this cheap and affordable cafe for anyone passing by the Crystal Palace triangle. It’s a great addition, great for the family, great for almost any occasion really.
5/5.
We had such an amazing time here. The food was delicious and the fresh home made juice was really refreshing. The owner was very welcoming and very polite, always smiling. I definitely recommend and we shall definitely be visiting here again.
