Stopped in after nipping into town for something, genuinely wish we had more time to stay or the town had a place to stay for campervans. We could've spent all night here. Very friendly, bar man was great & outside seating area is perfect for when the sun shines. Brought our Pyrenees along & he was like a little celebrity. Will definitely make another visit when passing up this way again.
Rutherford Pub, the first verified micro pub in Scotland which opened in 2015. good range of beers (cask,bottle,can) and variety of spirits and soft drinks such as tea & coffee. Beers included Highlander and Rapture. A limited amount of food is available such as cheese board, nuts & pastries. As a micro pub seating is limited however plenty of seats are available outside (weather permitting). Overall, nice place to visit and try new drinks but limited if you are looking for more common drinks.
A great micropub in the town centre with outside seating area. Good selection of drinks including coffee. Inside area is small as would be expected. Service was good without any long waits. A great place to visit in good weather.
Nice small pub, visited by both locals and tourists. Three local beers on tap and a wide range of other drinks served with crisps. Some other snacks are available as well.
A very pleasant early evening drink in the outdoor seating area on a warm summers evening. Plenty of scope for people watching in Kelso's main square which is well maintained (hanging baskets, bunting, litter picking on a Sunday morning etc.) by the community council I think. It is described as a micropub and truly there isn't much room inside, but still appears to be busy throughout the day. £11.55 for two candyfloss gins (served in goblets), a can of Schweppes lemonade and one Schweppes Indian tonic water. No company affiliation unfortunately.
Lovely pub in centre of kelso in square good beer and coffee tea . Micro pub of year 2015.. Helpful staff and friendly.
Lovely experience once again. Even though it was windy and grey, spent a lovely couple of hours outside with excellent beer as an early pressie for father's day for hubby.
This is a great little place for good beer and cider. All staff really welcoming and friendly.
Impromptu music by local musicians is an added bonus.
Lovely atmosphere.
