Best KPortal Reviews

I purchased the large breakfast with extra mushrooms ????, served all day. It came hot, fresh, local produce with toast and marmalade and coffee all for £10.80.
It was filling. Really enjoyed it. Makes a change to have good service.
The menu is very good. The cafe also sells cakes and savouries and take out food.
Well worth a visit.
Food was not good. Came out quickly and hot but that's this is the only positive thing I'll say about the food.
The staff seem like they hate being there. I don't recommend this place.
Prices are reasonable.
Very busy for breakfast but well looked after, food was great. Dont know what some people expect! Read couple of reviews on here that slate everything about the place, bet they didnt have the balls to actually complain about anything tho' just write inain comments from a distance! Lets hope they do everyone a favour and clear off to where they came from and leave the cafe seats and tables to those that want them. Rant over!
Avoid, do not go. Shocking food and service. Had the roast beef dinner for £10.50. Worst I've ever had. Frozen peas and frozen carrots. Deep fried scrag ends of frozen roast potato's, there were 3 of the scrag ends that were not big enough to make up 1 roast potato between them. Frozen Yorkshire pudding and beef butty meat. Absolutely shocking and not enough to feed a child let alone an adult woman. The majority of the plate was the frozen carrots and frozen peas. So hungry went back and ordered toast, which came immediately so was already done and cold and very dry, inedible, and I was not given any cutlery to butter it with. We will never come here again.
I just love their home-made steak pies - to eat in or take home. Lovely local butchers best stewing steak in delicious gravy, and melt-in-your mouth pastry. I have it every visit!
An easy place to stop off and have something to eat while travelling. We stopped here on the way back from Whitby, Less than 5 minutes walk from the car park . Plenty of choice. Will remember here next time we are traveling that way
it’s so cute in here was too full to try the food but it all looked so good classic english food, best pot of tea so cosy and rejuvenating. love the green interior. really friendly staff
Yep.... If'n local pay a visit.... Your loss if'n you don't.... Admittedly took a couple of visits to aquire a table.... Speaks volumes... Good food at a reasonable price (for these days)... The veg had plenty of flavour.. Not boiled to death and enough
I had beef n Ale stew... Lovely... Ar Lass Cottage Pie which she rate enjoyed.. We'd definitely visit again
