Best KPortal Reviews
The food is good but it’s unnecessarily and insanely oily. I don’t geddit. Indian food does not have to be THAT oily. Such a waste. The rice - nice but oily. The chicken jalfrezi - OK but bathed in 2 litres of oil. Why?! A few small changes and it would be so much better. I doubt they’re checking reviews but I sincerely hope they do.
Excellent!
The best Indian food in London! ????
Everything is very delicious and a lot of variety. The price is cheap and the food is of excellent quality.
I recommend it!
Ordered a simple and tikka masala, rice and naan thinking what could go wrong? The tikka masala was a strange colour and smell and didn’t taste right at all. The naan was really dry and hard to chew. So sad :(
Here I ordered the kebab roll and the onion bhajis (pakoras) They used a hard roti for the roll which made it harder to eat and also the kebab. Pakore was very sticky and chewy which made me not want to eat from there again however it was fine. I wouldnt recommend it at all
I had to deduct 2 stars because their food, although tasty is swimming in oil. I’ve asked, please drain off the oil, but it still arrives with 1/2 a mug of oil sitting on top, which I have to drain and it’s disgusting. As an Asian I know you can cook Indian food healthily, which uses a minimum amount of oil that doesn’t sit on top of the food. 1/2 a cup of oil in one of those plastic take away boxes is a hell of a lot of oil. In fact the food can actually do backstroke in there, which is ridiculous! When you ask to reduce the oil and they literally ignore you = bad service. Even if the oil is drained and the food is tasty, it’s still a bad experience and is off putting. Even the veg is saturated in oil which is gross. They need to get their cook some lessons in cooking Indian food the healthy way. In fact Madhur Jaffrey published a cook book on the subject so there’s no excuse, apart from them being from P-stsaan and refusing to admit that their food is actually Indian. Some of them be like that ! Init doh !
The most beautiful spinach and potato curry to have ever gifted my taste buds. Never stop this xx
Hands down the worst Indian I’ve ever had. I’m certain the chicken was tinned. The naan isn’t even made there… was like tasteless shop bought nonsense. He microwaves it in front of you, too.
Bad attitude from the owner, and he over charged us. I just paid and got out. I also overheard a customer complaining that a worker verbally abused him there the week prior.
Never go here. Was the worst, most depressing meal I’ve ever had. And he charged me £25 for the pleasure.
Didn’t even finish it. Gross on all levels.
I like this place, it opens till late. Been on the high street for a very long time! Great for when you've been out drinking and you need something to eat. I got the lentil dhal curry with rice so tasty full of flavour..just what I needed. Also very affordable ???? no complaints
