Ruddy's, what a Ruddy good chip shop! Chips were perfect and just how I like them, juicy and not hard, dry and crispy like a lot of other chip shops. The sausage was very nice and the gravy was spot on. What a brilliant find and I definitely recommend ????????????
Absolutely delicious fish, chips and mushy peas today, the cod was fresh, thick white chunks of cod, cooked to order. Proper home made mushy peas, not out of a tin. Highly recommend ????.
Bought chicken and chip today never again. Chicken was not even cooked Absolutely red raw inside Never again. tried to ring them no answer and I bet they don’t even answer the review. For £2o it’s a rip off I could have Baught a pizza from up the road for less money and it would have been better
Small portions of chips but we're nice fish was like a child's portion sorry but the curry sauce is rank from there most chippies these days have a choice of at least 2 or 3 Chinese original and Irish all ruddys do is only can be described as vomit. The menue is the same as when I moved to lydney 25 years ago,
Good fish and chips, what more can you say? The battered sausages are fab too. They do other stuff like cheesy chips and beans, curry sauce etc.
I have eaten at Ruddy’s fish bar many time over the three years that I have coming down here and I always find the fish fresh and the haddock is cooked to order. The cod is also good as they have such a turn over of cod all i kept hearing down to three Cod so the fryer puts more Cod on.
Never had a bad meal from here. Portions are good and very tasty. One of the best in the forest of dean
This was the best fish and chips we'd had in a long time.. Good value for money and the staff were amazing.. They worked the cue of customers really fast.. The fish was banging!!
