This former darley's pub is a traditional two roomed pub. There is a nice front bar and a comfortable back room. There is a good range of beers and lagers, including three hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. All the real ales were in excellent condition on my visit. In the lounge there is a TV and a dart board, at the back there is a nice secluded courtyard drinking area. The staff are very friendly, it's a nice pub definitely worth a visit.

Really nice pub, comfortable back room. Excellent draught real ales including Black Sheep, Wainwright and Doom Bar.
Spot on landlord and landlady, nothing is too much trouble.
Highly recommended for visitors to the area and as Beverlonians one of our favourite pubs in the town.
My one small gripe are the limited weekday opening times.
The landlord and his lady make the place warm and welcoming. Great place to drop in for a drink in Beverley.

It's rare these days to find a traditional landlord and landlady who not only keep their house inaccurately clean, their beer in tip top condition, but also offer a level of warmth and a welcome that is unsurpassed for miles around.
Their endless patience and dedication to their customers is legendary.
I attend a traditional music session here every Tuesday evening to play a few tunes. The Guinness is always good, and the welcome is fabulous. You will be welcomed and feel comfortable here taking some time out with a pint.
Called in for a couple of drinks NYE afternoon whilst visiting Beverley. Nice pub, friendly staff and dog friendly.
One of the friendliest pubs in Beverley. Would highly recommend.
