As we drove up to the Royal we were amazed by its Grandeur, the Saltire and stag met us at the front door.
A well stocked bar awaited us with the happiest patrons smiling with a great service.
Would have been a 5 star review apart from the comments from the ladies in our group.
Negatives of our visit;
Ladies toilet didn't have enough toilet paper which meant that they had to share toilet rolls by dib-dabbing and passing the toilet roll under the stall to the next lady! By the time it got to the last stall lady said she'd rather drip dry!!
Love the place. The landlord and his wife treats us like family. Great pints and good atmosphere at a weekend

Was in after lock down red headed bar worker was very rude kinda spoilt the afternoon shame for the owner????????????
The jinjer headed bar worker let's the pub down misrible and ignorant plenty more pubs
