Found lee from Rowdon motors on Facebook after searching about for hours looking for someone who remaps MSB ecu’s . He poped up straight away and agreed same day . Arrived and strait away he diagnosed a boot problem with my intercooler and replaced it there n then. I chose a stage 1 with popcorn and smoke after wanting a bit more get up and go . That is what I received . The popcorn is nice. The torque is amazing especially the black smoke. Still keep contact with him for more parts. Very nice bloke to talk to. Very knowledgeable and will help anyone out
I recently purchased a car from someone that had a front offside broken suspension spring replaced. When I purchased the car I became concerned about the thumping when going over minor bumps. I jacked the car up to find the top bearing and rubber buffer had been fitted below the spring. This resulted in the spring being in direct contact with the bodywork.
I made contact with Lee and sent him some photos and he made time for me the next day. He explained that he had his brother's help with the reassembly and clearly got it wrong. Lee carried out the repair quickly and effectively with no charge.
What a find - Red triangle warning light - Moved into the area the day before - so fortunate to find Lee of Rowdon Motors on Google - Took my car over and he ran some tests and explained what was wrong - I left my car and then received a video of what he was doing - absolutely blew me away - never had that before. His customer service and friendliness was an absolute pleasure. Anyone needing a Land Rover mechanic should contact Lee. Huge thanks Lee and see you at service time.
Took a trip to Lee at Rowdon Motors last weekend to inspect an engine he had for sale before I purchased it. When I arrived he couldn't have been more helpful, offered me and my friend a drink, asked if we needed anything and then left me to do what I wanted to do to check the engine was healthy. I spent nearly 3 hours at Rowdon Motors inspecting the engine and then talking to Lee. Being a mechanic myself and chatting to Lee it was very apparent that he really knows his stuff about Land rovers, from maintenance to what bits are required to build a decent spec Land rover and then his mapping itself. If I had a Land rover and needed any work doing then I wouldn't hesitate to take it here and would recommend anyone that isnt sure who to use to try him. Thanks again Lee
Visited today for a remap on my 1999 auto td5 10p and honestly can’t express enough how happy I am with the tune also gave some advice on other bits on the vehicle which were very knowledgeable 110% would recommend to anyone thinking about using this service ????????
I had heard about Rowdon motors and drove a long way to have my car remapped. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. The remap didn't take long and the difference is significant. The car is more pleasurable to drive and has a lot more power. the purse likes it aswell as it is way better on fuel! The service (and tea) that i received was great. I would higly recommend him, will go back in the future to purchase the hubby a new car
Took my range rover sport 07 plate to lee at rowdon motors, he did cam belt,oil pump,and service for me. First class job and very knowledgeable man, he knows his land rovers.

I had my Land Rover remapped by another garage. It was awful contacted Mr Rowdon and he looked at the car while I enjoyed a cup of tea. before I even knew it the car was working better, faster and stronger than ever! I highly recommend this expert, He sure knows what he is doing!
