This chip shop is a must! Wonder fresh cooked chips and fish, if we lived in matlock area this would be one of our best chip shops we would eat at.
Even my daughter who doesn't like fish unless it tastes really fresh and she loved it.
Staff very helpful and understanding and polite.
They couldn't do enough to help us,
Very clean too.
I had a small (mini fish) and it was big enough to feed two of me, my mum had the same and she couldn't eat all her fish.
We will definitely eat here again and I have told my sisters to eat here when and if they ever visit matlock bath or matlock.

Found this quite mediocre. I had take away pie and chips. The pie wasn't ready and needed to be microwaved so fair enough, the chips were soft and portion size miserly. Not sure why it is so hard to get decent chips in Matlock Bath. Will stick to the Market Place chippy in Ashbourne in future.
Excellent food, friendl staff an absolute gem for food in Matlock. Our visit we had freshly cooked fish chips and peas. Well happy with our visit

The food was just what we wanted - freshly cooked cod with great chips & sides.
Nice fish and chips. Small portion of fish, chips and peas for £6.75 which I think is a bargain compared to our fish and chips locally.
