Great place and amazing scenery. Good food with a descent choice for such small place. Hot chocolate is most welcome after an early morning walk in winter. Plenty of great walks in the area btw.
It's good to have it in a place like this. And to think (council?) was going to close this place down ???? Toilets are available.
We're very grateful to the current owners for running it. Place is laid back with owners always making you feel welcome and having time for a chat. Nice to see the dining area added where you can hide if it's cold and wet and enjoy your cuppa. Hope people do come regularly and support it to keep the Roundhouse open.
What are the plans for the future? Kayak and canoe rental maybe? ????
Very friendly and excellent service. We wild camped for a few days on the east side of the loch, and were very pleased that we were allowed to leave our car here for the duration. Would certainly recommend the cheeseburger sausage roll, world famous it should be. Thanks again for your excellent hospitality.
Brilliant wee place on Doon Loch to stop an have a coffee an a bite to eat, friendly staff.
Thank you for your good cheer, interesting chat, your kindness and accommodation on a busy holiday and while being challenged with a coffee machine malfunction and running out of supplies. Thank you too for making my dog welcome! Had lots of lovely, happy exchanges with fellow customers, all appreciating the service and good food. And the fabulous views and the Ness Glen walk is very, very special!
Scenic location, clean and relaxing. Staff are knowledgeable about the place and it's history and willing to share a good story. Also the toasties on a chilly day, particularly heartening. A few nice aviation memorabilia.
Fab place, returned twice while visiting with our grandsons , great food, fab views too.
