Visited in October. Decent chips. Only thing that I did find off-putting was the aquarium fish tank in the shop. It was absolutely filthy and needed a good clean. I felt sorry for the few fish in the tank. If you're going to have an aquarium as a feature in your shop, please look after it.
We've been coming here for years, and the fish and chips are always perfect! It is very busy, so it can take 20-30 minutes for your order to be completed. But it will be worth the wait!
I'd recommend the classic fish and chips with curry sauce, but the chicken is also very good.
Super fish and chips. By far the most diligent and generous application of salt and vinegar of any chip shop anywhere ever.
Lovely chips and mushy peas. A bit pricey though, and they took ages to cook, so expect a long wait, however well worth it. Place could do with a lock of paint, hasn't changed since Chippy Willy worked there in the 90s.
Excellent fish and chips, good portions, very friendly and reasonably priced. What more could you ask for?
Nice chips and the service was good too, great little local place. Looks like it used to be a Chinese takeaway too but it said that finished a month or 2 ago
Best curry sauce I’ve ever had. We had fish and chips, steak pie and battered sausage, all very fresh and tasty. All of this in a nice little village. Lovely.
