We went up to Lossiemouth for the weekend and fancied an Indian meal. This restaurant is part of the hotel, it’s not well advertised. Do not be put off with first impressions. We had a lovely meal and the service we had from the waitress was great. We went with her recommendation. The lamb melted in the mouth and the chicken was lovely and tender. Lovely fluffy rice and thin and crispy Naan bread. I would not hesitate to go back. It’s just lacking in atmosphere. I feel it needs to advertise itself better.

This is a great place to have an Indian meal; the service was excellent, everything was very clean, the plates were warm and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken tikka rogan josh and the flavours were perfect, the chicken was beautifully cooked and very tender and the rice was fluffy
I'm sorry to say that last night, 12/8/2023, we had a special takeaway meal for 2 at the Rock House Indian restaurant. Well, to say the least, I think that they had forgotten to put the spices in the curries as they were tasteless. The soggy chicken pakora was coated in a plain batter and not the usual gram flour batter. We also had Bombay Aloo, which was inedible. The chutney was thinned down and was like water. The whole meal was thrown in the bin. We are a retired couple and decided to treat ourselves to what we thought would have been a very special meal.
Took my family for a meal and we had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, staff were extremely friendly and all for a reasonable price. New taps and lines also meant it was one of the crispest pints of lager in lossiemouth. We will definitely be back.
Didn't stay in the hotel just called into the bar/restaurant. Cheapest drinks in Lossiemouth and an excellent meal. Great starters, haggis and black pudding pagodas, and main meal had just a slightly different flavour to other curries. Such as the Oriental Tiger Khan infused with oranges. Very friendly staff and regulars too !
This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have every been in on the same level as Bradford restaurants the meals we had were very nice the service was excellent the place does a takeaway as well as being a hotel,we will definitely be returning
Doesn't advertise itself as an Indian restaurant particularly well from the outside but had heard from someone local they were, so we tried it.|Food was fantastic and everyone extremely friendly, will be back again soon.
