Was craving a roast dinner during the week and my satisfaction was definitely fixed with this half roast chicken I tasted the love inside it was amazing! Fish and chips was also really good. Nice quite and cozy atmosphere friendly staff
Was a thoroughly lovely meal. Ellie, our waitress was a diamond and really helpful. I was so surprised when we first got their to see so many staff members....my gosh, they needed them. Very busy and I can completely see why. Highly recommend.
Our veggie roast dinners were very good. The actual roast part could have been a bit crisper but the veggies and gravy were very good. Children ate for £10. I had the creme brulee, wasn't a fan of the layer of blueberry but that's just personal taste. Service was very good and the children enjoyed the outside area.
Wonderful pub/restaurant in a lovely great location. Food (we had a Sunday lunch) was really tasty and reasonably priced, and service very good. However, the portions were a bit on the smallish size, hence a reduction of 1 star (i.e. 4 stars instead of 5). Will definitely be going back to this establishment.
By far the best pub I've been to. Newly refurbed. Whatever rep they had, it didn't show on our visit today. FANTASIC staff and customer service. I felt spoilt. The menu is varied and food was really tasty.
(I forgot to take a picture of the main course, but it looked and tasted so delicious, I ate it before I realised, oops).
Very dog friendly staff, and the back garden has loads of table space and running area for kids and dogs.
I hope they keep up this level of service, it certainly would keep me coming back, despite the 1 hour drive away for me.
Lovely staff but for a Friday it was not full, probably too cold outside. Menu was not that impressive although food was good & hot. Should be more fish dishes, a lamb dish would have been nice on the menu.
Had a meal there today and all staff had changed. New staff very friendly but food not so good. Had the lasagne as usually this is home made and the best I have ever had. Not today the portion was extremely tiny ( really wished I had taken a photo) and was average in taste. Mentioned this to a staff member who said he will speak to the chef but never came back to us to update us. Sadly won’t be returning as just not the same. Prices have also increased but I except that is happening in most places.
Great venue for family gatherings especially today St.Patricks Day. Ten of us dined together and all our meals (mainly roasts) came out together and were delicious. This place never fails to deliver. Thank you
