Always ready to help with advice and great service. Nothing to fault with the way they keep my older car going and good prices too. Obviously you need to book in ahead for major jobs but I have often had minor queries and they do their best to diagnose/solve them while you wait. Good to have them as my local garage.
First experience was detailed advice from Trevor over the phone on how to free the clutch plate that had stuck to the flywheel. That got me 'out of gaol'. Second was a minor repair and then the hunt for a mysterious 'clonk'. Trevor spent a lot of time on it. Nice people, great service, and a welcome feeling of confidence.
Always difficult to click "Good Value" for any garage unless one is a mechanic and has run a workshop but it's fair to say that I've always been very happy with the work at Riverside so I've now clicked that one too!! The thing is that you can always discuss things with them first and so you get a pretty good idea if it's worth having something done - especially if you tend to have older cars like me.
Have found Riverside to be particularly helpful, often at very busy times for them. They diagnose the problems and always consult about the alternatives. My sons, daughter and I now bring all our vehicles to them for service, MOT or repairs.
Phoned them 3 times for a price to have a new flywheel and clutch fitted to my car. They haven't even bothered to come back to me claim i phoned haynings for a price aswell. But isn't that what you do if your repair bill is going to be around a thousand pounds. Not proffesional in my opinion..
Undertook repair at short notice at very reasonable price. Excellent service.
Overpriced... if local businesses like this want to survive they shouldn't be exploiting those who rely on them. Many very good mechanics just outside Framlingham are half the price
Simon, Trevor and the guys there are absolutely fantastic. Very professional, communicative and a pleasure to deal with. Could not recommend them highly enough.
