Was running a little short of oil in van in Ballater before a journey across to Nethy Bridge. Arrived just at 5.30pm (in fairness cutting it fine) to fill up with diesel and buy a small jar of 10w40 oil. Explained our situation and that we had cash to pay for the oil. We’d already just paid at the pump for the diesel, but were simply told “we’re now closed, the next garage is 20 miles in the opposite direction of travel”. Literally 40 seconds would have had us sorted and on our way and they could have kept the change, but instead we were left knowingly in a hanlin. Poor, poor, poor.
Amazing garage! The owner george is so genuine and kind. Got everything sorted in a matter of a few days ( and there was a lot of work to do ). Very reasonable prices and lovely staff. Thanks George and your team????☀️
At very short notice the team managed to fit us in and examine our car after it sprang an oil leak. Lovely people and very helpful.
Useful petrol station. Especially the 24hr pumps. Saved me from driving to the next town. It took a bit of trial and error, but eventually got the terminal working and filled up OK. ????????
Can’t thank George and the team enough. We were on a family holiday when our brakes failed, and with an extremely heavily pregnant wife this had to be remedied immediately. The guys took the car in straight away and the parts delivered and the car repaired within 24 hours. Outstanding service and very well priced. If I lived locally this would be my regular garage. Thanks again.
Being on a hill-walking holiday, with a prompt start needed, I was worried by my slow puncture. I phoned Riverside at 8.10 and was told to "bring it round and we'll have a look". By 8.55 I was on my way! In 45 minutes my tyre had been repaired, I had had my leg pulled about the price - which was in fact very reasonable indeed - learnt a little bit about the local history and enjoyed the company of friendly and good-natured staff. Some places are "can do" but this is "WILL DO". Superb in all ways and very highly recommended.
24hr terminal worked no problem, got petrol!
Unmanned so had to use card authorised pump which didn't produce a receipt.
