I am a patient at this surgery and to be honest I HATE going there it’s not even funny,& this has just increased my depression because I can’t see a doctor I hate going there I feel like I’m bugging them by wanting to see the doctor to I genuinely hate going to RIVERLYN MEDICAL CENTRE it’s depressing for me , it’s so impossible to get an appointment it’s like you want to see “King Charles” or something it’s impossible there is never an appointment feels like you have to kneel down and beg to see the doctor ????them receptionist think they doctors and most times I feel like they treat me like I’m a slat calling to see their husband it’s awful I cannot stand going there very POOR services very unfriendly unfortunately…. I am looking for another surgery it’s such shame after all the years I’ve been with the surgery makes me feel really SAD but obviously they don’t care such a huge shame! I’m looking after myself and my son!
I had booked an appointment on 04/02/2020, it was a same day booking and I was really happy that I could get in on the same day as I really needed to see someone. I arrived early, booked in and waited...and waited and then I realised that the surgery was almost full of people waiting for the nurse... It was around 30 minutes later and I asked the receptionist where the nurse was and she advised that shes on an emergency call at the moment but should be done soon, I thought ok that's fine she is a nurse she is probably helping someone. So I returned to my seat and the surgery was becoming more and more full and before you know it I've been waiting over an hour! I was rang on the phone by my mum and explained I'd be late home and how I've been waiting over an hour for the nurse. The receptionist then came up to me, apologized and said she was on the phone but I can rebook, I was so angry I needed to speak with the nurse that day because it was an emergency and it was a Friday, the next appointment was a Tuesday. I can't believe that in total I was waiting for my confirmed appointment for 1 hour and a half. Could you imagine if I was suicidal? If I found a lump? This isn't the first time aswell, I actually dred coming to the doctors because of how shocking they are... The main doctors are hardly there, theirs constantly different doctors, the waiting times are extra long and I feel like they don't even help. I am now looking for a different doctors surgery who can actually help me. Please don't go to this doctors surgery, I was waiting an hour and a half whilst a nurse - the only nurse was on the phone.
If I could rate this 0 stars or minus stars I would. Do not go to this surgery, the doctors here are useless, they seemed to actively go out of their way not to help a family member who had serious mental health problems. The reception staff here are also terrible and clumsy, messing up appointments, losing details etc. Since changing to a different surgery we have received a lot more help from the GP.
i wont even give them 1 star dr didnt send me to see a specialist so called head dr asks questions but no specialist called or tests done and then they label you to get rid appalling drs and shouldnt be allowed to practice
Recently joined this practice and the service I have received is brilliant. Lovely receptionists who can't do enough to help you & multiple opportunities throughout the day to book telephone appointments. Thankyou so much for the service you provide
Dont deserve 1 star! I dont go to this doctors THANKFULLY but my disabled mother does. The staff are disgustingly rude, they give out dirty looks and speak to you as though you are 5 years old and need telling off. My mum has been made to wait years for her smear baring in mind already having had part of her cervix removed and they have made her change her appointment every time she has gone to it.. now she has to wait until march! She is disabled, has angina and the doctor still refuses to help as others are more of a priority? I was made to sit with my mum for more than 3 hours in the doctors the day after my mum had a bad angina attack and was never seen just left to sat there and she was sent there from the hospital!!!!!!!! The main woman doctor needs sacking she is a vile woman, rude and condescending and doesnt have a clue how to do her job obviously! Youre really letting people down and my mum cant even switch doctors like shes been wanting to since the day she was made to go to this doctors. Appalling.
I would advise anyone who has registered with this Center to change for their own safety, The receptionist are very helpful but Doctor/s are unprofessional and lack experience
Been with riverln for a few years not happy because see differant drs they never listen to patient busy interrupting and not listening never read your past notes never follow up that's why iam still suffering
