We visit the Osteria whenever we’re in Arundel, for espresso and light bites. The Osteria is the Italian café on the ground floor of the Italian restaurant Pappardelle, in the centre of Arundel. We’ve been going there for a number of years now - the staff are always welcoming and friendly, and the coffee and food are very nice. The place has a style all its own, and we always feel relaxed and happy when we visit. Well recommended.
First time I've been here and very nice place to eat. The staff are very friendly and the Cajun Chicken was as it should be; juicy and spicy. Very nice lemon flavoured biscuit with your tea as well. Although fairly quiet during the week, it does get a lot busier over the weekend.
Nice restaurant in the centre of Arundel with longer opening hours, good service and friendly staff. The food was OK, but could have been better based on the reviews I was reading. We ordered the 'mafioso' pizza and a pesto lasagne, the pizza was good but was more cheese than tomato so lacked flavour. The lasagne unfortunately to say was a bit bland (needed more seasoning) and very oily, I liked the idea behind the dish but don't think it was executed as well as it could be for a special. This was only based on two dishes that we tried, but would happily go back and try the dishes that have recieved the better reviews.
Great food and service every time we visit. I had the harissa skewers with Moroccan couscous, my better half had the four cheese pizza. Highly recommend.
We were amazed at how good the pizza, mussels and seafood platter was. Wine was good too. Go for the orange, lime and stem ginger cake, awesome.
I cant recommend this first class restaurant highly enough! Cant wait to go back
Very good atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent wine and good desserts. We weren't in love with our mains (that's not to say we disliked them, though) but maybe that was just our choices. We'll definitely return.
Lovely little place in Arundel, great for meeting up with friends or for a date. Have a few good ciders available too.
