Arrived to a really welcoming host Natalie, showed me into my room and made sure I was catered for. The room was warm and clean and exactly what anyone could ask for on arrival. Facilities were great and the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was a help yourself service and had all you’d need to get your day going.
Overall my experience here has been fantastic and a place I will certainly recommend to others. Only thing I may suggest is that the shower be improved slightly, but by no means was it bad, just lacks power.
The accommodation is very basic but clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast is continental, help yourself. White bread which could be toasted, jam or marmalade was available plus a selection of cereals. . The kettle was filled from a plastic bottle The breakfast room was very small, and is not comfortable for more than two people.|It would have been nice to have more than one very small towel per person for a 3 night stay!!
I booked this Bed and Breakfast as I was a witness to a court case at Airdrie Sheriff Court earlier this month. ||On the day I was supposed to check-in, they cancelled my booking with no warning and the reason on Booking.com was that I had an invalid card. This was not correct as if my card had been invalid, I would not have been able to book the room as I had done at least a week before, nor was I given an option to change my card details to a 'valid' one to keep my booking. ||When I tried to ring the number provided, I was put straight through to voicemail (which has about 20 seconds of unnecessary silence before the beep) and never received any reply whatsoever. ||Luckily, the court managed to provide me with last minute accommodation, otherwise I would not have been able to fulfil my legal requirement to attend court. ||I would not recommend anyone to book thus place as you may risk all of your holiday plans to be inexplicably cancelled for no reason.
Very good b and b. |Warm, comfortable room. |Good parking. |Close to main routes. |Personal and welcoming reception upon arrival. |Clean. |Good value. |Nice breakfast. |Reliable WiFi. |A good place to stay.
This was a last minute booking for a business conference in Castlecary. The host was very kind and agreed a fair price . Charming little room with own toilet/shower and nice decoractive touches. Appreciated being able to use the kitchen area with microwave and free breakfast items (porridge pots, croissants).
Really warm friendly host, great location, great place just to stop, shower, sleep. |Found it without any issues. Bed was quite comfy, great power shower. The host is really nice and friendly. Much better than premier inn who wanted £190 for one night
This is a must of a stay, nice greeting from Nat the host who explained everything concerning the help yourself breakfast room and informed me of the Wi-Fi passcode and her mobile number if I required anything. |The room well, wow is all I can say, mine looked like a converted barn with one wall all the big old sand stone. |Well furnished with a table I could use for a work station. Kettle and modern tv on the wall. |Nice comfy bed and great en-suite. |Honestly 10/10 specially with the price also.
I would stay far away from this B&B. The lady who runs this place is super unwelcoming and there are a bunch of rude men lingering on the property. The photos do not accurately represent what this place looks like and overall the whole property feels really unsafe
