We happened to walk by here and saw the curry goat on the menu. The lady behind the counter was very friendly. Good sized portions The food was super tasty, the meat nice and tender, enough gravy over the rice. Delicious food. Really recommended. It is take away but you can eat it in your hotel or in the park. The nice lady also gave us cutlery.
Food is disgusting I’m sorry. That is not rice and peas and the stew chicken had a weird taste..not seasoned properly at all am so disappointed as was genuinely looking forward to it but couldn’t get past the 2nd bite
Food really nice but when you ask for a large stew chicken and rice for £12. I expect more than small 4 pieces of chicken. Very expensive for just rice. Apart from that very happy.
One of the best places to go. I happily travel over 45 minutes in order to attend this place. My favourite is the stew chicken but I will be working my way through the menu :)
Worst place ever. Family known this shop for years m. Ordered stew chicken and rice and peas and they are giving me easy cook rice instead of basmati rice and gungo peas instead of kidney beans. The chicken has no flavour. I don’t know what kind of cook they have but me and my partner wasted £30 on our meal all together that went to the bin. Maybe the dog would enjoy it.
Amazing food . Dinner time specials for £6 are worth every penny the curry chicken is superb . The main meals are even better and good price . Lovely service from the Jamaican ???????? ladies always with a smile
If you want good jerked chicken and rice and peas, this is a great stop. Nice people, good food, really fair prices. The goat curry is seriously delicious if you're lucky enough to get some.
The food here is really tasty. I've had curry goat and oxtail, and both were delicious. The kalaloo is the best I've ever had. The rice and peas are also good. If I had any email complaint, if say there was a little too much bone in the oxtails. Also a very friendly and welcoming place.
