Visited following a walk up/down the Black hill. Fairly quiet so we got served quick. Black pudding and egg roll was tasty and the service was fine.
Taking granddaughter out for the afternoon stopped here for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Staff friendly ,food lovely , and not too long to wait despite it being very busy.
We were passing after viewing a car nearby, went in for a bottle of water, came out with three scones. We all agreed that they were the best scones we had ever had. Wish I could give 6 stars.
Stopped for a lunch. Lovely restaurant, nice and clean. Highly recommend. Nice variety on the menu from cakes to breakfast and lunches.

Used to be a regular haunt but seems to have lost its sparkle and opening hours are a lot shorter than they used to be.
Dry scones, a flat white that looked a lot like cappuccino - toilets need attention, over all well worth avoiding
