This is a simple path to the waterfall, there is a slight incline after reaching the stream however the majority of the path is easy. When you reach the waterfall, it is possible to climb to the top, it is very muddy and an extremely uneven terrain, you must also cross the stream to get closer to the waterfall. There are stepping stones to cross this. It was a delightful walk and the stream is shallow enough for children and dogs to play in. Around the stream are large flat areas suitable for picnics.
Been visiting for 30 years. Love this place.
They have restricted access up the waterfall with fencing but people scramble up the side anyway to get good views of the pools.
Swam in some of them in the summer.
It’s about a 20 min walk from car park to waterfall.
Not wheelchair friendly.
Dog friendly but beware sheep.
Easy to walk to the waterfall and you can climb up the side of it if you're feeling brave. There is a picnic bench at the bottom of the falls.
Good car park with picnic benches and a couple of portaloos.
Really enjoyable walk out looking beautiful hills, path on the way to waterfall and singing birds. ❤
Absolutely amazing place.. so peaceful..
A pleasant, easy walk with the river running alongside until you reach the waterfall.
Beautiful place. Bit of a steep climb if you want to get to the pools.
Only a short walk from the car park after driving around the huge Lake. Will go again to reach the top and the view behind it.
