We ordered mutton and veggie kothu parota
It was pretty tasty
Excellent Sri Lankan and South Indian food. I was missing the taste of Thalis and dosas, and went there for the first time to get a reminder of good Southern dishes and I wasn’t disappointed: masala dosa was fabulously delicious, with all the tasty dips and additions. The masala tea was also very good. Nice atmosphere inside. Excellent service. Many people were coming to pick up food for take away. I will come back again for sure. Good quality / price ratio.

Superb South Indian/ Sri Lankan food!
The dosa was nice & crispy , the Kothu paratha was yum! The kesari halwa is just soooo delicious! I could have that everyday! ???????? The owner is super sweet and welcoming!
We visited this restaurant for lunch and had selected this place as this is the only restaurant in geneva that serves dosa s.
The restaurant is located in a side street of the area les grottes, and has indoor seating of some 10 tables and also some outdoor tables next to the road. Its decoration is simple and functional.
We ordered a masala dosa and a vegetarian thali. We had to wait a while before the food was served.
The dosa was nice fresh, large and not to crunchy. The potato stuffing however we were not too impressed about. It lacked salt, spices and we had the impression it was not freshly prepared that day.
The vegetarian thali was small, as there were only a couple of subji s. The dhal, spinach and patato subji were tasting well. However we did not like the beans and their sauce. When finishing the thali a refill was offered of the rice and dhal.
Lovely home cooked feeling. Tasty food and happy to substitute for dietary requirements. Cheap (by Geneva standards) and big portions. The chilli sauce was really spicy!
It was an authentic south Indian/sri lankan cuisine experience. The Dosa was jumbo, I mean really jumbo, aptly filling for one person. The prices are reasonable if we compare it with the quantity being served. All in all, a good restaurant.
Good food with good ambiance. The owner was very warming and attending us himself. We ordered 3 dishes and I must say all of them were excellent. Specially the butter crispy dosa was very good. I can say, they serve best dosas in Geneva. They have 2 branches and I have visited the one close to station. The restaurant is small but they take order by smood.ch. But for the best taste it is better to have it in the restaurant, as it was told by the owner himself. Must visit this one at least once. Very close to Indian Taste which we get back in India.
Really we have loved the taste of the food. Worth for every bite and money. Thanks restaurant Shiva for serving delicious food.
