It’s not called the Rest and Be Thankful for no reason. It’s been used as a stopping / resting place for many hundreds of years by travellers and the military for many years, hasn’t it ????

Always amazing! You simply cannot beat their venison burgers. Fantastic flavour and the view is outstanding. Remember to order the onions at the same time as the burger. All sauces are provided if you fancy them. I prefer to leave mine plain, with just the onions and savour the taste. The picture doesn't do it justice, it's a great and filling burger. I took a couple of bites before remembering to take a pic. Enjoy yours. Highly recommended.
A lovely spot to take in the the view. We were on our way out of Scotland and stopped for a quick breakfast bite. The takeout van is well stocked and did the trick.
Food was delicious,sat in our van over looking the rest and be thankful while we ate. John was good banter while we waited on our rolls.
If we weren't so busy we would stop everytime even if just for the chat and view.

John’s trailer (and menu) has been the jewel of the R&BT viewpoint for many years. Superb baps and burgers, espresso coffee and all the trimmings. Outstanding over so many years. Saved in my SatNav forever...
