The fish here is as fresh as I’ve had it at a harbour chippy, batter is crispy and tasty, the chips are fluffy and cooked in good oil, absolutely delicious fish and chips and if I could give more than 5star they deserve it !

Great food. Proper English chippy that do a range of things you find in the general other chippys you will find around. Food is great quality, just sometimes you get really small chip portions. Also wish they would put freshly cooked things with batter on (fish bites for example) in a tray instead of a bag as the batter sticks to the bag when you try and open it! I was going to give 4 star for that reason but the food is really nice despuye them niggly small things. Highly recommend to anyone.
Best fish and chip in tameside make sure that you have large plates as the first are huge

The best chippy in Tameside without a doubt. Quality cod ....best quality. Ok, it might be more expensive but it taste so good. Caught, filleted, frozen and packed on board the trawler within hours . Can't recommend this place enough. It's had my custom over decades and will continue to do so. Once you've been, you simply won't go anywhere else. A big thank you to all the staff.
