The most amazing buffet for our little girl’s first birthday. There was so much food for the adults and plenty for the younger ones to try too. Mel couldn’t do enough for us, set everything up beautifully then ran some take away boxes down for us so our guests could take some food home with them. Absolutely amazing and would recommend to anyone needing catering. Thank you again.
Tuesday 30th April I visited reggies for the first time it was a lovely warm clean environment we where made to feel very welcome by the staff. The service was very prompt and professional the choice of food was very good and good value. When are food arrived it was presented to a high standard and the flavours were amazing I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a place to visit and one more thing witch I also liked was it was dog friendly
The staff were lovely and friendly and I do like that it’s a dog friendly site even though I didn’t have a dog myself. Sadly the major let down was the food at the price. At 11 pound for an all day breakfast you expect either quality or volume (preferably quality). The hash browns, it must be said, were perfect. Delicious. As was the bread. The grilled tomatoes were more or less raw. The bacon was undercooked whilst the sausages were black on the surface. The plate was dominated by a surfeit of baked beans which were extremely watery sauce. The mushrooms were passable if you like them underdone though it left them swimming in a layer of grease which someone plonked our butter pats into, resulting in an interesting game when we tried to retrieve them to butter our toast. My son also suggested that the Mac and cheese was watery and bland. In a greasy spoon cafe, none of these would be major complaints, however when your lunch costs 40 pounds, takes 20 minutes to arrive at your table (whilst the cafe is not even at seating capacity) and you have to return to ask for the hash brown they forgot, you might be inclined to think you’d have been better off grabbing a cheap lunch at subways. The coffee and chai latte were both very tasty and my son proclaimed the hot chocolate as “quite nice”. Hopefully we just caught them on an off day in the kitchen but I’ll certainly be sticking to a simpler order if I dine there again.
Came for our 1st visit today and all I can say is OMG! The food was amazing, especially the salt and pepper chips. My new favourite place for food for sure. Staff were so attentive too. Will be back soon for one of those brownies ????

Wow what an Amazing buffet that team Reggie's put together for my daughters 18th Birthday. Having had amazing food at the café, we book the buffet as everything is homemade and no frozen or mass produced products. I highly recommend.
Love Reggie's warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. My daughter has twins and many cafes in whitley bay make you feel very unwelcome with a buggy. Not so Reggie's, they couldn't be more accommodating. They have a natural, genuine warmth and they never hurry you. Food is excellent too!!!!!
Fantastic warm welcome, would highly recommend the Toffee and Pecan cake with cream and a lovely cappuccino... Nova our Akita was welcomed and enjoyed resting her paws too... Perfect break after a walk from St Mary's Lighthouse... ❤️
