Happened to see the sign saying takeout pizza was available and I'm so glad we decided to give it a go. Extremely friendly staff, lovely lights outside the hut and plenty of parking & benches available. Pizza was absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, best pizza I've had in Scotland!
This was a simple cheese and tomato pizza. Inedible as it was burnt. The pizza chef shouldn’t have sent it out but he did and then the head waitress who was very rude to another diner asked what was burnt, the base she said?!?
Needless to say it wasn’t enjoyable and I didn’t eat it. The offer for a fresh one given her appalling attitude to another diner I declined. Instead in I received 10% off a pizza I didn’t eat and the service charge removed.
I also ordered a chicken Caesar salad for it to arrive with no chicken. The salad leaves and dressing were nice, but missing protein.
The head waitress was extremely rude to another diner asking her “if she could read” as she’d sat in a reserved table. Well perhaps she was foreign, or maybe she can’t read or she may have just walked past the sign. You certainly don’t ask a customer if they can read and fit everyone else to be able to hear. So very rude and uncalled for.
I’ve had better meals from here, the head waitress needs to learn etiquette and customer service skills.
Delicious fresh pizza! Staff were lovely and very welcoming and we had food on our table within 15 minutes. We were also welcome to visit the toilets located in the restaurant next door stationed on the same site.
Amazing selection of crafts beer. The pizza was okay, but a bit bland tasting.
The pizza was excellent, nice and warm, good toppings. The chef was very nice to us as the place is cash only and we had to get cash. Many of the restaurants near here are small and book up quickly, so this is a great place to go if you didn’t get a reservation ahead of time.
The restaurant right beside this pizza shed also offers their pizza on the menu. The waitress told us if we just wanted pizza, it is better to order it from the shed. It was supposed to open at 12. No one showed up until 1215. I was then told it would be a “couple minutes” and he would “open when he was ready”. I told him we were in a bit of a rush and it said it opened at 12. He said it would only be a few minutes. By 1230 he still hadn’t opened his doors, so we left. Really awful and disappointing experience.
Ate here after a walk at the Three Sisters of Glencoe. Really friendly guy took our order of 4 pizza's and within 15 minutes they arrived. The pizza's were really delicious and tasty! Thank you big beardy man in your small pizza hut with a hot oven ????
Amazing pizza - had it off the menu from The Gathering next door. AWESOME!
