Finding a place to eat without booking proved to be impossible in Lyme Regis on a bank holiday Sunday. Red Panda is still open and they have good reviews so I chanced my luck. I thought it’s one of those “nice because I’m on holiday” type takeaway. But no, I was wrong! The food is genuinely superb. The pork belly and ribs will give any good authentic Chinese restaurants in London or Birmingham a serious run for their money. I’m very impressed.
Nipped in just before they closed for an incredibly delicious experience. Satay chicken was grand, chilli crisp on top just perfection itself! Thank you!
I’d rate it more than 5 star if I could! This was the most delicious bao bun I’ve ever tried, so packed full of flavour. I had the teriyaki tofu bao bun with the salad box. The salad was super tasty and crunchy and absolutely full of flavour. A lovely takeaway healthy lunch. It was so tasty we went back the next day to have it again as we couldn’t stop thinking about it! Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.
What can I say about the ‘Super Salad’ with chicken satay other than fantastic ????. Worth every penny of the £10:75. Hot and spicy complimented perfectly with slices of melon.

The bao here is even better than the ones in Taiwan! It's so touching to be able to have home-cooked food in Lyme Regis!
Sooooooo good!! The chicken bao was lovely but the pork one definitely the best! Delicious home made chilli oil on top too and fresh salad. Great meal to eat on the benches by the seafront (the metal tables in the review pic belong to a pub opposite so don’t bank on those)
Great little find for delicious street food. The Bao buns were the best I’ve had, full of fresh filling and the meat just melts in your mouth. I went back and ordered another it was so yummy. Salad was great too with a plethora or flavours and so fresh. Friendly staff and happy to help. Definitely need a return visit
