What a brilliant place! I have spoken to Neil a couple of times now and he has proven to be generous with his time, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I felt completely at ease trusting him to look after my car. I will update when I have more work done but, so far, would highly recommend.
Neil alloy welded a cracked sump on a Triumph Thunderbird motorcycle for me and did a great job at a great price. Not only did he repair the crack, he re built the fins and ground them back to look as good as new. Invisible mending at it's best. Real nice guy who knows what he's talking about.

My classic car means everything to me, I've owned it since I was 16, and Neil Read is the only person I trust to do any work on it. Superb workmanship, he can weld anything, fix anything, fabricate anything. It doesn't matter if it's a track car, classic car or an American muscle car, you see them all at Read. Just book early as his diary is often full for months in advance. He is also the only person I've ever let drive my car, and that shows the trust I have in him.

Took our rally car here in September to be put on rolling road well they wouldn’t even put it on there, they have played with carbs and they have done something to them as car now won’t run right, we had to take it to another garage to try and get carbs sorted but they can’t get car running right, So had someone else look at them and they couldn’t sort it, so now have had to go and bye new carbs for the car witch has cost us a lot off money, Would never go there again as they have cost us a lot off money
