It's the first time ive had pie n'mash for gaud noes, but it was everything i had expected...except the price ????
I can't moan, remember Manze's in Peckham Hill St when it was 1/- 11 ???? that's a while back.
So at £6-20 in this day n'age for a filling meal you mustn't grumble, i'd recommend it to anyone ????
Pie n'mash with liquor ????
Lovely pie mash and liquor, friendly staff and helpful. Food was good and their desserts are excellent too love it here and glad it's still operating totally recommend
I visit this good old traditional pie&mash shop 3 to 4 times a year ( 1st time since ulez). I always have pie, mash and liquor and have never been disappointed. Hopefully the locals will appreciate it and support this shop as visits to London will now become less frequent for me and other work colleagues due to Ulez
Friendly and prompt service, the coffee was amazing and the medium English breakfast was exactly what this American traveler was looking for today.

I made an order for delivery and when I received it, custard was everywhere. The delivery driver could be the one to blame but regardless of who's fault it was, the packaging was very poor. They also missed one of the items that I ordered which it never received. This was very disappointing considering the reviews are pretty good overall, perhaps delivery is not the option. I did call them and spoke to a lady however there weren't any solutions, needless to say that was a good £35 down the drain.
Boys loved going for pie n mash with Grandad and Nanny last Friday.
Went here after seeing Eltham Palace. I was under the impression I could get a classic english pie, as a tourist, seemed like a good idea. It was not. This is the type of food that gives rise to all those jokes about english food being bland and tastless. It was simultaneously void of any aroma and too salty. The mash was ok, and I finished the meal so I wasn't hungry, and it says a lot that this is the only positive I can find.
