Original Som Tum, non pretentious food like local woman who never has Tik Tok Account. Juicy, chic , authentic. Saw complaints and thought I might have low standard ???? but I’m happy with this restaurant. Nothing fancy. I’m low maintenance person.

Had lunch at ร้านป้าแก้ววชิรธาร and it was a satisfying experience overall. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, making it a great option for an affordable meal. The meat dishes were particularly outstanding. However, the intestine was slightly bitter and the Tom Yum soup a bit salty. Still, the staff was friendly and the overall quality of the food was impressive. Worth a visit for a tasty and budget-friendly lunch.
Coming from someone who has been in and out of Thailand regularly for more than 2 years, this serves above average Thai food. I am actually impressed with the quality given that usually restaurants near tourists attractions offer mediocre quality good at best.
Owner speaks basic English, which is sufficient. There is the option to go for non-spicy version of any dishes on the menu. I find the food a tad too salty / sour for my liking. Tom yam is a little too sour, thousand year egg salad is a little too salty. Grilled chicken is above average and som tam (papaya salad) is good.
Worth dropping by if you're at the nearby waterfall. Prices are slightly expensive by local standards, but if you're a tourist, chances are you will find it cheap.

I was not expecting too much from a small restaurant next to a tourist attraction but the food was really tasty for both me and my friend, maybe not the freshest prawns but apart from that delicious. Our meals were also 60baht for pretty generous portions which is really cheap. Very sweet serving lady, I'd recommend this place ????
