Local take away great food and pleasant service and staff can't beat it
Decent food service good prices reasonable
So I believed this was the best Chinese takeaway in the Kirkintilloch area. Always went for my usual food but the last time it was disgusting. Maybe a different chef, different owner or different supplier but the chicken just wasn't right at all.

The rainbow house is the best Chinese in all of Kirkintilloch and surrounding areas honestly! Amazing portions and the extra hot curry’s are theeee best so much flavour! The delivery can take a while but it’s so worth the wait, their salt and chilli munchy boxes are soo tasty too the best I’ve ever tried. The staff are always helpful & also ask the chef to prepare things that aren’t even on the menu if you ask! 100 percent recommend I wouldn’t go anywhere else ????????????????!!
Ordered two Thai chicken dishes from the menu, not a hint of coconut milk or lemon grass in either, just bland runny gravy.gave one star only as it was hot.

We ate a meal from here on Saturday the food was nice, although the chicken curry didn’t seem like real chicken ... salt chilli chicken was extremely salty. Since Sunday both people who ate the food have had food poisoning, I will be contacting the shop today .
We order regularly and haven't been let down yet. Food is really good and delivery is pretty quick considering how busy the wee place can be! Tried somewhere else for a change one night and was massively disappointed so back to Rainbow House from now on.
