Limited. Small compared to other commissaries I've shopped at, but the team that works there seem very helpful and friendly. My experiences there so far have been fine, but don't expect it to have everything like a traditional US grocery store. I can't speak to the quality of meat, but the applies and grapes I bought there were delicious.
Typical commissary. Good for shelf items. It's no Ramstein AB commissary ????.
This commissary may be small but I'd rather take a trip here than to the RAF Lakenheath commissary any day. The aisles at Lakenheath are always empty but the opposite can be said about Mildenhall. The store is always well stocked. They are willing to get items for you if you speak with the manager and provide her with a barcode. The people at this commissary make it awesome. The only downfall is the limited size and hours. However I know this is not a super busy location so I don't expect much to change there. If only AAFES would allow the commissary to take over some more of the space in the back that they don't use so that they could expand.
Not the biggest commissary, but also not the smallest I've seen. If you need to swing by and just pick up a thing or two then it's a good place, or if you're living in the dorms then it's convenient and they have more than enough for the people living in the dorms. Great customer service, I will give them that.
It is quite small, the smallest commissary I've ever visited and has fairly limited selection. But if you are on base and only need the basic essentials, it works. There are also a few cahiers that work there that could do with a bit cheerier disposition as well.
The food is great. Meat is outsourced from Germany such as beef. Overall place is clean and a quick way to get your groceries and get out.
Staff is always friendly. The hours are not ideal (not open evenings or weekends) and you get what you get with commissary food. Just double check the date on things.
Best sandwichs in town folks and you're not paying the AAFES mafia prices. If I could recommend anything, it would be to expand the deli area to expedite the lunch rush.
