Visited this cafe twice on our visit to the area while cycling to Port Appin. Great stop for a refuel. We had coffees and delicious scones. The main menu looked very good too and there was a steady stream of people coming and going while we sat outside on the sunny terrace enjoying the beautiful view.
Stopped for breakfast before the drive back home. The food and coffee hit the spot!
Even managed to score some company from the resident canine too ????
Loved this beautiful Cafe ~ Powder Pink and cream American styled interior. Loved the food ~ l had American style Hot Dog and my Daughter had the pancake stack with Crispy Bacon and Maple Syrup ~ excellent person fodder. They also have a good selection of Home Made Soup, savory pastry goodies, cakes, flapjacks. Quirky Place that invites all comers on two or four wheels. If you're passing drop in even if it's just for coffee. Not to be missed. ????
Lovely food and drink. The car and bike parts decorating the cafe were fun too
A lovely place to stop for a meal! The decor was very charming and the meal was really hearty and tasty (the leek and potato soup special was divine), especially as we'd just climbed a hill. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, even though we'd come in towards the end of the day. I'd highly recommend stopping off at Racer Cafe if you're passing through the area between Oban and Fort William!
Lovely staff, excellent bacon and egg roll. Freshly cooked! Good quality ingredients! Will definitely return
Not really biker friendly carpark. gravel. Slow service for below average food. All the same well situated and good chance I'll pop in another trip for a coffee, which was half decent.
Passed in our Motorhome on a hot March day and spotted the ice cream signs! However, when we went in, the reception from the young lady at the counter (equalled later by her 'Boss') was exceptional. Professional, enthusiastic attentive and very genuine. Some expensive restaurants could learn from this team!
As it turned out, we spotted and tried the home made meals and cakes. All family recipes we were told which was backed up by the flavours and quality. The car park environment of real Classic cars (one being worked on, great to watch) and Bike and motoring memorabilia is not 'fake' designer efforts. It's all real and is a fascinating hint at a private collection. We were staying at the nearby Creagan Station Tourers Caravan Park (Also excellent) so it was very convenient to nip back for more.
Try the Pancakes with bacon and syrup - amazing.
I felt that the level of welcome and genuine/personal nature of the place on that sunny day were better than anything that I have seen in Disney Florida.
Like Arnie - We'll be back
