When entering the chippy there were a few people in line but the line went by quickly, the music was very loud but the person who served me was very nice and made sure to confirm my order before charging me which I appreciated.
The prices were reasonable, I ordered 2 large battered sausages, fish, large chips, two sauces. It came out around 16-17 quid.
This is my second time coming here and it was good last time but this time I wasn’t impressed.
The fish was quite dry, I didn’t really enjoy it.
The chips were ok, I could barely taste them because of the vinegar but next time I’ll ask for less vinegar. I did buy gravy to go over my chips so that kind of saved them.
Not gonna lie after a few hours my stomach hasn’t been feeling great after the fish and chips, my boyfriend feels a bit sick from his too. We’ll try it again but if there’s other choices, we’ll probably pick that.
First time take away from here.
Staff were very friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble.
Having tried many chippies in the area - this has to be the best. Thank you.
Will certainly be back again if this is the quality of food they serve and service they give.

Amazing I had home made Chili chips not on the menu but well worth asking for
Chicken and mushroom pie was hard and rewarded and rewarded...
And when asked in the shop they said they were OK.....never again...total waste of money.

Great classic fish and chips. Just what we needed.
Called in around 5pm on Thursday afternoon for fish and chips. The fish was like leather to cut into and only about a quarter of an inch thickness was remotely edible. It was obviously left over from lunchtime if not the night before and baked on a heated shelf. The chips were OK but ice cold as was the fish and curry sauce. Total rip off of a pensioner. Won't be coming back.
First time visiting, friendly staff, very busy but didn't wait long. Fish and chips were lovely and Jumbo sausage nice as well. Will recommend and visit again ????
