My son attended at 17 years old. Was in receipt of a dental plan and care. His retainer no longer fitted making his mouth sore this was due to new teeth coming through. Advice given was that this had to be paid for. When he and we asked/challenged as he was under 18 we were told he had to pay to replace - unbelievable. Also on reviewing the reviews, Purity only seems to respond to positive reviews, I wonder if anyone will get in touch with us...
Dentists are brilliant here, its just a shame the reception team lets it down. My check up was due in April, they couldn't get me seen until August. Then the day before my appointment, it got cancelled and couldn't be seen until October. When we did get seen the dentist was wonderful, however, there was a huge mix up with my paperwork and i got sent a letter threatening a penalty fee when I'd already paid. I have since left 2 voicemail messages (which didn't get returned) to get my husbands filling redone which has dropped out (which was only recently done) and I have to wait another 4 weeks! Its such a shame as the dentists here are so thoughtful to the care they give.
It is my pleasure to leave a review for Purity Dental who have been nothing but accommodating and gentle during my treatment. Their establishment is 5* regarding hygiene and the atmosphere in general, is very friendly. I would like to take time to highlight Dr Sharma and the fact that she made me feel so comfortable, that I forgot the dentist was a fear of mine.
I was guided through my whole treatment (a tooth extraction with Anaesthesia) and whilst undergoing the Anaesthesia process, Dr Sharma and her team offered their support and spoke to me which, allowed me to feel safe and calm.
I would recommend Purity Dentist to everyone, especially those who haven't had the best experience or have a general fear.

If you call the practice between 1pm and 2pm on a weekday , it will say they are closed which is misleading. As they are very much open, but closed for lunch. There is no sign on the door to say this, so very easy to assume they're completely closed. Please put a sign on the door to say you are closed for lunch, to avoid this misunderstanding.
To be honest this dentist was amazing when I first went. I am so scared of the dentist and the lady was so nice and also had sedation. 2nd time I went I needed a filling and I wanted sedation again. She said there would be a wait. One year later still hadn't heard anything. Rang them to be told they weren't doing sedation. Didn't even let me know till i rang them. So had to pay another £26 for check up for them to refer me to cradley heath. Waited 4 weeks hadn't heard anything to then be told they had declined the sedation. So rang back purity to be told I'd probably have to pay another £26 again !!! And can't get an appointment for another month!!! I'm really disappointed. Its unfair when you are petrified to go
I was in and out before my due appointment time. Great treatment and very pleased with the result. I am beginning to think about going private because I have been very well taken care of. Really impressed.
Had my check up/clean/polish today with Shuhb. Although I always fear this as my teeth are very sensitive today's experience was really good with no problems and clean, shiny teeth.
The dentist I saw was very kind and gentle. Informative of possible future treatment that may be required. Advice given on how to best self-treat my sensitivity problem. Apologetic for seeing me later than my appointment time ( this wasn't a problem to me ). Very nice lady.
