I was extremely pleased with the exceptional and excellent services provided by Dan's Fish Shop. The haddock was fried to perfection, revealing a delightful surprise of white, chunky meat. The chips were crispy and fresh, making them a delicious accompaniment to the fish. Overall, Dan's Fish Shop offers the best fish and chips in the Crawley area, and I highly recommend their establishment.
Brilliant fish-and-chips owners very lovely staff. customer service on point curry sauce which was given for free was absolutely bang on! chips cooked to perfection, will be back!
I've ordered here before and normally the food here is really good. Unfortunately this time round I was disappointed- the chips weren't cooked properly and some of them were still hard and dark brown like they'd been cooked in too higher temperatures and the fish had a lot of mushy coating and soggy looking. It's made me not want to visit again which is a shame as it doesn't seem to be at the same standard everytime.

Remarkable family atmosphere, very friendly, enjoyed the experience. More than a tad over normal price. Battered cod was a not quite 5*. Contents a little mushy rather than fall apart flakes. Maybe I ought have waited for 2nd visit (like another reviewer) as it could have been a one-off, it was the same for all the portions bought & I'll likely not be back that way soon.
Hard to rate an atmosphere for a chipshop but the food was superb, the service second to none and so friendly and helpful... Usually they prefer cash payments but as we only had euros in cash, they were happy to take a card payment. My only disappointment with Prizefighters was that we live in Cornwall, too far away to make the our regular chippy. Incidentally, their prices were far less than Cornwall and being so much closer to London a very pleasant surprise.
A much better experience second time round! Very nice Cod and chips, light crispy batter and served quickly.
Previously cod roe was cold in the middle but glad I tried them again.
Would have been 5 stars but the chips were a little soggy. We will be back
