We will definitely be visiting again. Easy to park, easy to order and the food was ready within a few minutes.
The chips were cooked well, the sausage was large and the small fish was actually a good portion size.
It's very fresh and new inside. They also sell English lakes ice cream and I will probably purchase some next time it's convenient to do so. I definitely recommend it.
Update: Visited yesterday after new owners had been appointed. Prices have gone up slightly but the food is very high quality. The chips were amazing but the fish was slightly on the small side for me. Very convenient and I will be visiting again.
Excellent Fish and Chips, really tasty with great chips. Worth the drive to go and get it! Mushy peas were good too with a pinch of salt. They had bottles of vinegar available to purchase too.
We had 2 fish and chips, the service was great, everything was cooked to order. The fish was tasty and crispy, good portions. Best fish and chips in Ulverston.
Ordered Haddock and Chips for the first time from here but unfortunately there was only as much actual fish as in a Fish Finger and was simply all batter. The Chips 50% were small end off cuts and far to crunchy. Therefore will be driving into Ulverston from now on.
Small portion compared to other local fish n chip shops. Batter nice. Fish under cooked in middle, chips also hard and under cooked. Curry sauce powdery and thin. Also expensive compared to local area. Also ordered battered sausage, wasn't battered. Disappointing.
Best chippy around! Everything is served in eco trays so if you want to you can take your fish and chips to the beach and enjoy it while you look out over the bay ???? fish is always cooked to perfection and the gravy is pretty good too. The portions are pretty big!!
Nice fish and chips takeaway, food was great. Used the online ordering system to save time on collection, well worth a try.
