Bought this car brand new in 2010 and getting to the age where a few bits need replacing now.
Andy was awesome and knows this model inside out! He has fixed and future proofed my S-Max for the next few years at least. This is my main garage now as they are also super friendly, trustworthy and great advice.
I've recently moved to York so was looking for a reliable garage for my MOT. I've been ripped off in the past, so am fairly cautious as I don't know loads about cars. There was definitely no need to worry though, as Priory garage were incredibly helpful and friendly. My MOT was done quickly and the process couldn't have been easier. I'm really glad to have found a reliable garage close to home, and will definitely come here in the future - thanks guys!
Had an issue with a major peugeot dealer asking for £671 plus vat to replace a complete COMM unit when all it needed was a skilful mechanic and a pair of narrow pliers to fix the lead that had popped out of its socket on one of the parts. Excellent job, friendly and super efficient. saved me so much of what would have been wasted money. I am taking my car for its first MOT to these guys later this morning! Chris
Fantastic experience with Priory Garage yesterday! Andy kept me informed all the way through the service so there were no surprises at the end, and I felt like I'd come out with a new car! Absolutely amazing paint job on my California van, which had a 6 inch dent in the tailgate. They undercut the quote from the main dealer by more than a grand. Easy to deal with and did the job in exactly the timeframe they said they would.
My car had ‘locked down’ - problem with battery and car not speaking to each other!
Andy arranged for transportation to his garage and gave me good advice about not wasting money on my
54 reg car and about which cars he considered to be a wise purchase.
He also organised for the car to be scrapped - helping with the paperwork.
All in all, I am very pleased with the service provided - when help was needed I went to the right place -
on the recommendation of a friend!
